Confederation of African Football (CAF) president Ahmad Ahmad has been released by the French Judicial Authorities less than 12 hours after he was arrested in Paris.
The media engulfed CAF supremo popped up on the media limelight in the early hours of Thurday May 6, 2019, when he was arrested for reportedly rerouting an already agreed contract.
A team of investigators from France detained the African football overload to aid investigation but has since released the media engulfed administrator, clearing of any wrong doing.
The latest arrest of Ahmad Ahmad follows recent investigative tsunami consuming top football administrators led by Sepp Blatter, Michel Platini, Kalusha Bwalya and Kwesi Osman Nyantakyi
