The Asantehene Otumfour Osei Tutu II in collaboration with Israeli firm called Green Field Estate company to build 500 affordable houses in Kumasi
The Green Field Housing Company (GFHC) is putting up affordable houses for sale in Prabon, suburb of Kumasi in the Ashanti Region.
Managing Director of the company who happens to be Otumfour Akomfrehene Nana Akwasi Abeyie briefing the media explained that, the idea is to make home ownership easy,” giving hope to many accomodation seekers in Kumasi.
The Green Field Housing company is targeting to build about 500 houses within two years.
“We are putting up 2/3 bedrooms for sale at very competitive prices”, he has said.
Nana Abeyie also revealed that the Company would this year complete the affordable housing projects in Kumasi which were started and initiated by the Asantehene Otumfour Osei Tutu II some years ago.
“GFHC is charting a new course with the needs of our clients who are the core of our service delivery and so the houses would be delivered on time,” the he assured.
The Management has entered into several agreements with Ghana Home Loan Bank to help those who will have an interest to buy these houses to get loans and pay it later in due course.
