Akwasi Appiah Names 23 Man Squad To Face Kenya Next Month

Black Stars Coach James Kwasi Appiah has named a 23-man squad ahead of 2019 AFCON qualifier against Kenya amidst potential FIFA ban on the Ghana Football Association.

The squad include two debutantes,Obeng Ragan who plays for Inter Zapresic in Croatia and 22-year Ernest Ohemeng who recently joined Spanish segunda B side CD Mirandes.

Kwadwo Asamoah makes return to the Stars after four years of international football but conspicuously missing from the squad are the Ayew brothers whiles Black Stars Captain Asamoah Gyan has been excused by the technical handlers with reasons best known to them.
