Sensational Radio/TV Presenter and Host of Rastas’ Circles Show on iTV, Emmanuel Amoah popularly known in Showbiz as Ras General says the organizers of just Ended Central Media Awards which took place last night at Kasoa- Galelia at Odeshie Hotel is a cheat.
“Let me state it clear here on this platform that the organizers of Central Media Awards(Ezone Network) led by Oheneba Nana Kofi are not Credible, serious and they are bunch of thiefs hungry for money and not rewarding hardworking media personnels in the central region.
I don’t know what they used in their criteria of awards and i advice them to learn and seek advice more on what they are doing because they don’t know their left and right.
Am not speaking out of my stomach to discredit anybody’s awards scheme, some of us know what they are doing and have vivid evidence in their bribery and corruption awards.
In the total votes for “Reggae Program of the year” category, ” Rastas’ Circles Show” had the huge highest votes against all other nominees and because we didn’t fall for their cheap bribe they decided to give the award to another person.
Surprisingly, last night they did not even reward “Reggae Program of the Year” but rather “Reggae Show Host of the year” which was not in the category of votes and everybody who was present is my witness or they can do playback from their coverage.
If Central Media Awards did not know our works in their reviews they should go back and check well. Some of us gave them guidelines as to what to do to better their scheme.
This is not a scheme that i think will help central region media and i advice them to get serious if they want to have a better and professional awards scheme.
I take this opportunity to thank our fans and viewers across Ghana, Africa(Gambia, Liberia, Serrie Leone, Togo, Rwanda etc) and the world at large who voted massively and believed in the works we did last year, but finally they cheated us because of their hungry belly.
