If the police is well resourced, and with the right leadership, they will be in the position to respond quickly to dealing with crime: investigating and prevention of same.
On the other hand, if the police force lack capacity, the right attitude and appropriate equipment, the motivation to act right will be affected, and antisocial behaviour, and crimes will triumph in society.
As a result, public confidence in the police, and law enforcement agencies in general will be low, and the right partnership supports will be adversely affected, if the reverse prevails.
The level of police professionalism I witnessed at Kumawu by-election gave me hope, and an urgent anticipation of a brighter future of law enforcement actions in our dear country, Ghana, and it’s my prayer that, law enforcement duty calls would be highly respected, and treated with the highest standards possible.

Much more can be done, but we are hopeful, and we would overcome one day soon. Assin North is our next destination.
