MEMBER OF PARLIAMENT FOR SUHUM CONSTITUENCY HON. KWADWO OBOAFO ASANTE ROLLED OUT APPRENTICESHIPS FOR PEOPLE IN HIS CONSTITUENCY.

member of parliament for Suhum constituency Hon Kwadwo Oboafo Asante Rolled Out Apprenticeship for People in his constituency .

MP for Suhum Constituency Hon. Kwadwo Oboafo Asante has rolled out an apprenticeship program for the youth across all 29 electoral areas in the constituency in the Eastern Region.

 

This initiative is an attempt to help reduce unemployment in his constituency and Ghana at larger and also help the youth to be self-employed.

 

Five hundred (500) people have so far benefited from Hon. Kwadwo Oboafo Asante’s apprenticeship program. He also gave out sowing machines and hair dryers to make their work easier for the interested youth.

 

Speaking to Oyerepa Tv news reporter Emmanuel Adjetey, Hon. Oboafo said the youth has already voiced out what they want to do in their lives and he’s aimed to help them to become better in society and also his desire that a time will come when particular place in his constituency will be identified as fashion centre Tourist site.

 

He, therefore, urged the apprentices to humble themselves and take the work seriously to achieve the purpose created.

 

Some beneficiaries expressed their heartfelt appreciation to the MP because they never saw themselves coming this far, they had no helper to come to their aid. They are very grateful to him for what he has done for them.

Nana Arko- Bensua l, the Queen Mother of Suhum, also thanked Hon. Kwadwo Oboafo Asante for such a wonderful initiative and also advised the beneficiaries to be submissive to their masters and mistresses and not to be lured by men who will not help them in life.

 

She, therefore, urged their masters and mistresses to correct the apprentices when the need raises and work with them in peace and harmony.

 

Dignitaries such as MP for Abetifi constituency also double as Agric Minister Hon. Bryan Acheampong, Suhum NPP Executives, Chiefs and Elders, the Muslim Community and other leaders came to grace the occasion to make it a successful event.
