According to reports, this donation is among the “biggest” that have been made since the Volta River’s towns have been devastated.

20,000 bags of 5 kg rice, 24,000 cans of Mackerel, 12,000 bottles of cooking oil, 400 packs of water, and 1,000 pieces of student mattresses were among the supplies intended to supply roughly 20,000 homes.

The business entrepreneur was thanked by the DCE for North Tongu, Divine Osborn k Fenu, who accepted the goods on behalf of the impacted villages and said his kindness will make the flood victims happy.

Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, the North Tongu Constituency Member of Parliament, gave Mahama the assurance that the supplies will be dispersed fairly to all impacted villages.
