“Asante Kotoko management and the Chairman has decided to give the price money for the NC special competition which is GHC 200,000 to the players because of their hard work. The mandatory was that we give the players GHC 100, 000 which is half the price money. But we have decided to give the players the entire price money.
Otumfour Osei Tutu promised us GHC 50,000 if we win the tournament. We will give the money to the players as well making it GHC 250,000. Any donation made to Asante Kotoko will be given to the players for thier wonderful performance.
Also, Dr Kwame Kyei (Chairman) has promised to give price money to the players with his own pocket money as soon as possible before the NC pays us the original price money’.
ON INJURY SITUATION
‘ Maxwell Baako has started rehabilitation and is now walking without clutches so it’s good news. We are hopeful that he will be fit before next season starts. Richard Senanu is waiting to travel for his surgery due to complications of his Visa but hopefully, he will travel.
ON TRANSFERS
‘ I can’t say much about transfers due to rules and regulations involving transfers, but I can assure our supporters that the team will change compared to the current one ahead of next season. Kotoko will be ready with quality players for Africa next season’.
