Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar and among the five pillars of Islam.
During this period, Muslims are required to fast for a period of thirty days which usually begins at dawn to sunset.
It is also period in which Muslims renew their faith and ask for forgiveness from Almighty Allah.
As Muslims journey through this period, I pray Almighty Allah accept our prayers and by extension save the world from the current pandemic.
I urge all Muslims to observe this fast by observing all protocols with regards to the fast as it is a Holy month.
Once again, I wish all Muslims across the globe a successful Ramadan.
