The NDC’s general secretary, Fifi Fiavi Kwetey, officially announced these appointments, which are intended to improve the party’s leadership and efficiency.

The NDC stated that the party’s National Executive Committee meeting held on August 24, 2023, unanimously approved these new positions.

Prominent Appointments:

Vice Chairmen: Professor Joshua Alabi, Dr. Samuel Sarpong, and Abdul Rauf Khalid have all been chosen by the party to serve as vice chairmen. Their involvement is anticipated to benefit the party’s leadership by bringing a plethora of experience and knowledge.

Dr. Edward Omane Boamah has been given the crucial responsibility of Director of Elections and Information Technology. In today’s political campaigns, this role is crucial for guaranteeing efficient and successful election plans.
Godwin Kudzo Tameklo has been appointed as the party’s new director of legal affairs. His legal knowledge will be extremely helpful in navigating the judicial system and defending the party’s interests.
Relations between the parties and civil society organisations are now under the direction of Dr Peter Boamah Otokunor, a former deputy general secretary of the NDC. Building cooperative contacts with other political parties and civil society organisations is a requirement of this position.
