We’ve disappointed those who voted for us and I’m not going to campaign for NPP again – Kennedy Agyapong indicates

Ken Agyapong found guilty, set to be suspended in parliament

New Patriotic Party MP, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong has indicated that he cannot campaign for the ruling New Patriotic Party again since it has failed to deliver on it promises made to Ghanaians prior to the 2016 general.

According to the astute communicator for the NPP, he won’t dare venture into some areas he campaigned for NPP prior to the 2016 election.

“We went to Magazine and campaigned and that day the crowd that came out was just unimaginable but this time if you ask me to go there today, I will not go because we have disappointed them. I am telling you the truth”, he disclosed.

He said that the NPP has failed most Ghanaians especially spare parts dealers as they promised to take away import duties on spare parts but that has not materialized.

“I am waiting for them to come and tell me to go outside the country to campaign. I can’t do it because anytime I travel outside the country they ask me about import duties. Look at Aboshie Okai and Kumasi Magazine, the Kayayei girl organized people to come and carry their pans. I cannot go to the Magazine again because they are angry. But as I speak, there are a lot of ‘booklong’ people in the party who say my economic is elementary”, he said.

He notet that high taxes by the Akufo Addo government is the main cause most businesses in the country are collapsing and has therefore forewarned the NPP government not to blame anyone but themselves if they loose the 2020 elections.
