The 60-year-old Mr. Christian Kwame Amuzu has committed suicide, according to one of Archbishop Agyin Asare’s, founder of the Perez Chapel International, Nogokpo’s loud voices.
The dead served as the Nogokpo-Ativuta Electoral Area’s previous Assembly member. Residents of Yelibato, a neighborhood close to Nogokpo in the Ketu South Municipality of the Volta Region, have experienced terror and panic since his death.
Early on June 14, 2023, Amuzu’s body was discovered in his living room, hanging from a rope.
After the tragic incident, the late Assembly member’s wife, Madam Baby Amuzu, said that her husband had not before complained of any problems.
Every morning, she claimed, the deceased drove their children to school, but on a fateful day, she declined to do so and instead asked her to transport the kids, without providing a reason.
