A Community Police Assistant (CPA) with the Nkurakan Police Command is currently been caged by the Koforidua Galloway DOVVSU for allegedly defiling a 13-year old girl.

 

Jacob,” as popularly known in the community was caught in the act by the mother of the victim, who is a CID officer at the same station in her bedroom at the police barracks.

 

Mother of the victim,Madam, Lucy reported to police that, she caught Jacob on her bed defiling her daughter which is just behind the main police station.

 

‘I shouted for help when I saw him (Jacob) in the act and luckily he was arrested and transfered to koforidua Galloway” Officer Lucy disclosed to the report.

 

Even Station officer at the Nkurakan Police station has confirmed the incidence, he revealed the matter is at the Regional command and has nothing much to about it.

 

Meanwhile, there are also reports alleging some traditional leaders and individuals have tried to secure bail for the suspect but to no avail, as the suspect has been on many occasions accused of seducing female inmates, all in the name of helping them secure bail.

The mother of the victim is, however, calling for the law to take it’s course to ensure justice is served for her teenage daughter.

 

“Some chiefs and other elders have approached me to settle the matter out of court but I am not interested. I want the law take it’s course” the CID mother painfully told the reporter.

 

Report also has it that medical test conducted at the Koforidua Regional hospital has confirmed the victim has been truly defiled.

 

The police is yet to issue a statement on the matter.
