We Never Bribed Nogokpo Chiefs – Peace Council Rejects

The National Peace Council has rejected claims that it paid bribes to some chiefs of Nogokpo to drop the controversial clash between them and Archbishop Agyinasare. The council issued a statement demanding an apology and the retraction of Nufialagah Mawufemor Kobla Nornyigbey's allegations that he turned down a $100,000 offer.
