I greet you with humility and a strong feeling of duty, my fellow chiefs, noble sons and daughters of the magnificent Akuapem lands.
As a loyal son of this holy land, Ghana, I stand before you today not just as a chief but also as a servant of our people.

LET US SERVE OUR PEOPLE'S INTERESTS; DEVELOPMENT IS STILL PARAMOUT.
LET US SERVE OUR PEOPLE’S INTERESTS; DEVELOPMENT IS STILL PARAMOUT.

It is our solemn duty as stewards of our legacy to protect the harmony, prosperity, and peace of our country. However, I speak with sadness today because Akuapem, our beloved home, is not where it should be.

Greed and self-serving ambition have infiltrated our institutions during this dangerous time.
Some among us who have been given leadership and power have betrayed the same people they pledged to help. Corruption has found a voice even in our legal and orderly institutions, where justice is sold to the highest bidder and the truth is suppressed.

This is not the Akuapem that our ancestors had in mind.
We are divided from one another. There is no enduring tranquilly. Our young people need direction, opportunity, and a clear route to a better future. The spirit of group advancement has faded and development has stagnated.

But there is still hope, my people.
Let’s go back to the values that once made Akuapem a shining example of discernment and solidarity, honesty, decency, diligence, and mutual love.
Let’s put aside our differences and cooperate for the benefit of our country.

No force can stop Akuapem’s advancement if we, as chiefs and people, unite in truth and purpose. Our people’s destiny is in the hearts of everyone who loves this country, not in the hands of a select few.

In order for future generations to look back and say, “This was the time Akuapem rose again,” let us dedicate ourselves to a new dawn of peace, unity, and prosperity.

May the Almighty lead us and provide Akuapem eternal blessings.
