CALL FOR AFRICAN UNITY (SOUTH AFRICA)

I bring warm greetings from Ghana.
This is a pivotal moment for our continent, as we face both shared opportunities and complex challenges.

Our world

today demands not only dialogue, but also deliberate and cooperative action to ensure security, peace, and prosperity
for all Africans.

Ghana remains deeply committed to strong international relations, sustainable development, peace, trade, PanAfricanism, and the unity of all African nations.

We believe that strengthening our bilateral and multilateral ties is
essential in overcoming issues that transcend borders. Our partnerships have historically been pillars of stability, and we are dedicated to deepening them for a stronger and lasting future.

As we navigate the current complexities, including the unfortunate xenophobic attacks against Ghanaians and Africans
as a whole, we must recognize the economic and social consequences these actions can create. Such tensions threaten our progress, our unity, and our shared vision as one African people.

I therefore call on our leaders to act swiftly, responsibly, and decisively to restore calm and implement lasting solutions before this matter escalates further. We must engage in frank and constructive dialogue, guided by mutual respect and the spirit of brotherhood, to find solutions that benefit all.

As we move forward, let us pledge ourselves to renewed urgency, collaboration, and solidarity. Let us work together to make Africa proud, stronger, safer, and more prosperous for generations to come.

I call for calm, peace, and closer cooperation among all African nations as we build a secure and united future.
