CAF selects Senegal as the 2025 AFCON Team of the Tournament.

The selection highlights players who had a major influence at all positions and honours the top performances from the month-long competition.

Champions Senegal, the finalists Following successful AFCON campaigns, Morocco and Nigeria topped the list, with Senegal winning in Rabat.

With three players listed in midfield and attack, Senegal set the standard and demonstrated their supremacy on the path to winning the championship.

After making it to the final, Morocco also made a significant appearance, while Nigeria’s impact was evident in their strong midfield and attacking participation.

AFCON 2025 was characterised by a combination of attacking firepower, midfield control, and defensive strength, all of which are displayed in CAF’s official Team of the Tournament.
