LGBTQ+: Offenders To Face Life In Prison Or Death Penalty In Uganda
Uganda’s President Yoweri Museveni has signed an anti-gay bill – one of the most punitive in the world.
It calls for life in prison for anyone who engages in same-sex relations and also includes the death penalty in some cases.
Even children who say they identify as queer will be sent to prison for three years under the new law.
