As days draw near to the election 2020, tension keep rising among student leaders. Moses Bondong, the President for National health students Association of Ghana(NAHSAG) has taken steps to suspend some of his colleague National executives. In a whatsapp message, followed with a letter sighted by ghananewsonline, the President stated that he cannot work with those executives anymore due to personal reasons. According to the message seen he has terminated the appointment of Miss Rhoda Amadu as the Financial controller. He went on to also suspend Mr. Derrick Mensah as the PRO and Mr. Elijah Oduro as Coordinating secretary.
According to our investigation, it is alleged that all the people suspended are sympathizers of the ruling government NPP while the President is a card bearing member of NDC.
In an interview with one of the executives, he made it known that the Moses kept saying his campaign to become the President was sponsored by his party(NDC), as such is not comfortable working with them. He tried severally to convince them to Campaign for NDC which they refused with the reason of being politically neutral. As a result of the failed persuasion, Moses Kept issuing threats of sidelining and suspending them.
Another also made it known that the action taken by the President is unconstitutional and have therefore written to all stakeholders to resolve the issue. He gave a 7-days ultimatum else he will sue the President.
