She testified in court that the convict requested the victim leave his room after they had intercourse, causing her to bleed.
According to Supt. Essel-Dadzie, the victim became ill and was unaware that she was pregnant after returning home from school.
She said that a senior house mistress discovered the victim’s pregnancy while the girl was enrolled in a senior high school (SHS) and on campus, at which point the victim was requested to leave by the authorities.
The girl eventually told her mother about her ordeal, according to Supt. Essel-Dadzie, and her mother reported the incident to the police.
The prosecution said that once the victim was taken to the hospital and her pregnancy was medically confirmed, the police gave the complainant a medical report form.
