The aftermath of unfortunate attempts by the Delta Force; a vigilante group affiliated to the Nana Addo led ruling New Patriotic Party to express their displeasure regarding certain political appointments, especially the appointment of a Security Coordinator for the Ashanti Region has called for diverse reactions from the length and breath of the political circles in the country.
On his first day at work, the president’s appointee for the region was forcefully ejected by the aforementioned vigilante group for the alleged reason that they (Delta Force) had anticipated to have one of its senior leadership personalities to have the appointment of the security coordinator.
In this regard, the leader of this group and 13 members of the Delta Force were arrested and arraigned before a district court of law in Kumasi where a handful of this same ‘force’ beseiged the court premises to set free the accused persons of the ‘force’.
Now, the main opposition party in Ghana; National Democratic Congress has come out through Mr. Yakubu Tony Aidoo (Communication Officer at Asawasi Constituency in the Ashanti Region) to notify the public about a counter force (Tiger Force) affiliated to NDC toprotect the grass-root membership and cadres of their party since the Delta Force has put the nation in a state of insecurity, whereas the preaident and his officials are reluctant to allow the rule of law to take its course.

He unveiled this newly formed vigilante on Saturday, May 20, 2017 during ‘The Encounter ‘ on Boss 93.7 FM hosted by Eugene Kwasi Nyarko Abronoma.
Tony Aidoo challenged the president and the police to dare arrest and prosecute even a goat owned by a member of NDC, he said that the Tiger Force would invade the court of law involved and set free any accused member of their party; since the Delta Force has paved the way and has the endorsement of the government.
He added that each region of the country will have a cell of this group for its operations.
