Black Queens Coach Bashir Hayford has admitted that the Black Queens squandered a number of chances but did not struggled in their 1-0 win against Algeria in the Total Women’s Africa Cup of Nations opening game.
Coach bash admitted that the Black Queen did not struggled but could have scored ‘5 goals’ but squandered the chance.
“We fought very had, the opposition wasn’t easy but we manage to take them, squandering a number of chances coach Bash said.
“It is only God who knows what his better for his children, so that one goal difference was what we carry to the end of the game.
“I don’t think we struggled, the only thing is that we squandered a number of chances and that is what we are going to work on.
“In our last but one match with this same, I worked on it and remember they are women I always said that what I did to them for the past three weeks if it were to be men there will be signs of improvement but still I’m going to still work on it.
“We didn’t struggled we played everything the chances came we should have squandered or should have scored about 5 goals but we squandered all of them , that is why I started by saying it is only God who knows what is the best for his children so we take it like that.”
