But for the quick intervention of a good Samaritan, Alhaji Yaa Waduud, some residents within the Ajumako Enyan Esiam district of the Central Region have portable water for use. The residents who have over the years shared water with domestic animals are full of praise when Alhaji Waduud visited the community and consequently dug borehole for them following their plight of lack of healthy water over the years.
The communities include Atwaboanda ,Afabil, Oshira, Nkatem.
The people are confident the gesture will help eliminate communicable diseases that have suffered them following the use of unsafe water in the area.
The Apam Junction based herbalist and Islamic scholar, Alhaji Waduud noted the Holy Qur’an demand everyone to be at their neighbour’s support if possible, and that is why he is out there doing his bit in providing borehole for those in
He said ,some of the projects have been commissioned and handed over to the communities whiles a few ones are yet to be commissioned
He is therefore entreating other philanthropists and NGOs to keep doing more to help heal society of petty challenges.
