Both the girl and her mother are currently being protected by authorities as a result of the circumstances.
The Ghana Police Service is actively working with the Department of Social Welfare and the Ministry of Gender, Children, and Social Protection to provide the little girl with the required support while the case is being probed.
Numerous discussions and worries have been raised by the traditional union of 12-year-old “Naa Okromo” in Nungua and Gborbu Wulomo, Nuumo Borketey Laweh Tsuru XXXIII. Age differences and customs within the group are clarified by this specific situation.
