Former President John Dramani Mahama has denied popular claims that the he’s been given a new UN appointment.
Recently rumor circulating on social media and the wider internet has it that President Mahama has received a UN appointment to Co-Chair a group of 16 advocates of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) project to help make sure that the SDGs are achieved by 2030.
But in a post on the former Commander in Chief’s official Facebook page President Mahama refuted the rumor of his “new” appointment. Saying that the appointment to Co-Chair the SDG advocacy group had been award to him in January 2016, as opposed to January 2017.
