The King of the Ashanti Kingdom, Otumfour Osei Tutu II has installed a new traditional leader for the people of Berekese Traditional Area after the death of the late Nana Kwame Akowuah II.
Okofour Amoapim Brenya I, the new chief of Berekese has expressed his gratitude to His Royal Majesty Otumfour Osei Tutu II, for installing him as Berekese Chief.
The Berekese community which is now a District Capital for Atwima Nwabiagya North in the Ashanti Region is said to have an upcoming developmental projects to help tackle negative issues affecting the community.
Okofour Amoapim Brenya I has advised the entire families of the late Nana Kwame Akowuah II ” Berekese community to come together as one peaceful family.
Okofour Amoapim Brenya lauds to the general public especially the Ashanti Region to give thanks to the Most High God for protecting the King, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II since 1999 till now and also pray for Strength and Ability and Long Live.
