Maths Marathon: Headmistress Praises Student Efforts in Cape Coast Guinness World Record Attempt

The headmistress of Aggrey Memorial Senior High School, Cape Coast, Mrs Dorothy Adentwi-Hayford, has thrown more light on the just-ended Guinness World Record attempt for the longest mathematics lesson, praising Joseph Otoo Amuquandoh, an old student of the school, for making this remarkable attempt.

In an interview, the headmistress, Mrs Dorothy Adentwi-Hayford, expressed her overwhelming pride in the performance of the students who have been participating in the 40-hour mathematics lesson. “I’m extremely proud of our students who have stayed up for 30 hours without sleeping, demonstrating their commitment to academic excellence,” she said.

She encouraged parents to enrol their wards at Aggrey Memorial Senior High School, citing the school’s excellent academic programmes and facilities. “We have good teachers here, and I’m confident that our students are receiving the best education possible. I invite all parents to bring their wards to Aggrey Memorial, and together, we can achieve greatness,” she added.
