The Head of Local Government Studies, Ing. Dr. Nana Ato Arthur has revealed an impending massive transfer to hit the Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies in the coming weeks.
According to him, this has become necessary following the creation of six new regions.
“We need to start with the postings, RCCs need to be in place and when we talk about Regional Coordinating Council the key staff include auditors, Coordinating Directors, HR, Procurement, Environmental Health, Directors of Agric and others. And so I was telling them that because we need staffs to go to these six new regions, some of you will definitely be affected but we need experienced people like you before we can add freshers.”
Dr. Nana Ato Arthur added: “The recruitment that we are doing we are going to recruit 2200 staffs and we need to add some of the freshers to you the experienced ones in the region,” he was speaking at the annual congress of the National Internal Auditors in Kumasi.
