Former president John Mahama has congratulated Ghanaians on the occasion of the country’s 60th anniversary celebration.

In a Facebook post on Monday, Mahama called on Ghanaians to work hard to make the country a better place for everyone.
He said the next 60 years must be better than the last.
“I salute all Ghanaians on the occasion of our 60th Independence Anniversary. Let’s dedicate ourselves, on this occasion, to make the next 60years even better,” he said.
An Independence day Parade is currently underway at the Black Star square in Accra to climax activities for the 60th Anniversary celebration of Ghana.
Foreign heads of state such as Zimbabwe’s Robert Mugabe and Togo’s Faure Nyasingbe are among of the many dignitaries that have arrived in Ghana for the event.
