Leading National Democratic Congressman (NDC) figure Kwesi Ahwoi has expressed regret to John Dramani Mahama for remarks he made recently.
This is in response to remarks he made last Thursday at a reception for the NDC’s running mate, Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, hosted by the Churchstreet group of party supporters.
During the occasion, he gave a toast and cautioned Prof. Jane Naana to always be prepared to become the President of Ghana because anything can happen. He used the example of how the death of the late Atta-Mills made Mahama the President.
Since then, the film has received a range of responses on social media due to its widespread circulation.
However, the former interior minister apologized in a statement for the false impression his remarks may have given.
