Kennedy Agyapong accuses John Kudalor of covering up the murders of JB Danquah Adu

Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong, has accused former Inspector General of Police (IGP), John Kudalor of covering up the ‘real’ murderers of his former colleague, Joseph Boakye Joseph Boakye Danquah Adu, because he felt some people close to the former President John Mahama will be exposed.

According to him, when the name of a former presidential staffer, Stan Dogbe, was mentioned by the suspect, the former IGP who was not in the country then, called COP Dr George Akuffo Dampare who was in charge of the case to hand it over to another police officer but the latter refused.

He said, “when they realised that Dr Dampare was pursuing the case amidst the caution from the IGP, he was transferred immediately to Winneba”.

Mr Agyapong alleged that the statement of the suspect to the BNI officials was changed because he (the suspect) had mentioned another person close to then President Mahama.

The NPP legislator was reacting to allegations by Kevin Taylor on Net 2 TV that he had a hand in the murder of his late colleague.

The controversial MP hit back at the leadership of the Ghana Police Service describing them as criminals.
