KATH not responsible for Wayoosi' daughter's death – Family

Eugene Morrat, PRO for Wayoosi’s family has refuted claims that doctors at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital gave wrong medication to the Kumawood star’s daughter Blessing Osei Fremah which resulted to her death.

He made this comment Thursday afternoon after it was rumoured that the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital was responsible for the death of the actor’s six months old daughter even though he had told Zionfelix.net that a private hospital in the Ashanti Region gave wrong medication to the young girl when she fell sick.

Eugene in a chat with with Zionfelix.net hours after he confirmed the death of Nhyira retreated that a private hospital in the Garden City gave wrong medication to the young girl after she fell ill.

According to him, KATH has nothing to do with the wrong medication.

Zionfelix.net reported hours ago that actor Wayoosi’s daughter Blessing Osei Fremah mostly called Nhyira is dead. She passed away on Thursday, October 13 in Kumasi.

Eugene Moratt who confirmed the news to Zionfelix.net explained that “he called on Sunday to tell me that the child is sick adding she was allergy to a drug. I told them to take her to a hospital because judging from how he was narrating it, the sickness was serious.

When I went there on Monday, she couldn’t open her eyes. I went there yesterday (Wednesday, October 12) and realised they had connected artificial oxygen on her to discard an unwanted medicine they gave her from the body.

So I asked the doctor what happened and he replied that they are investigating into the matter because they were given wrong medicine for the child’s sickness.

The dosage was also too much for the child. The six month old daughter was given 5ml instead of 2.5ml.

Wayoosi called me around 1am today (Thursday, October 13) crying”.
