Karela FC lost 1-1(2-4) to their regional rivals, Nzema Kotoko SC, at Crosby Awuah Memorial Park in a round of 32 fixture of the ongoing NC Special tournament to suffer their first competitive defeat in over 40 matches.
Taylor failed to add to his goal tally in the competition in the regional derby that saw his team fluffing their lines from the spot kick.
Speaking to 442gh.com after the game, Solomon Taylor unleashed his frustration after their exit and opined that their main target is to win the ultimate in the Tier 1 of the competition.
“Am so sad we lost to Nzema Kotoko. In fact am not happy at all”
“Our target is to win the competition but its football anything do happened in football ” Taylor said.
Karela FC are out of the competition at the Tier 2 stage but will take on Ashgold SC in the top tier.
Nzema Kotoko meanwhile move into the last 16 of the Tier 2 after that derby delight.
