Efia Odo, a socialite and actress from Ghana, said why she and dancehall musician Shatta Wale ended their connection, citing disappointment as the main cause.
Efia Odo expressed regret for having expected more from the musician in an interview with Berla Mundi on the Day Show but refrained from going into detail about their relationship.
He let me down, and I blame myself for having high expectations. I had hoped that he would treat me the same way, but sadly, that didn’t happen. I have to leave the toxicity behind,” she said.
Efia Odo strongly claimed that she would not accept Shatta Wale’s apology, adding sarcastically, “He has apologized, but I don’t accept apologies; I accept cash.” Despite reports to the contrary, Efia Odo has accepted Shatta Wale’s apology.
Efia Odo addressed allegations that she was dating Kwesi Arthur and refuted them. The two are not romantically involved. She noted how Ghanaians frequently associate her with any man she interacts with.
No, we weren’t dating. People believe that every time they see me with a guy, something romantic is going on just because I am a die-hard fan of his. I believe I’m just hot,” she proclaimed.
Beyond her romantic engagements, Efia Odo has shown concern over the difficult living conditions that many Ghanaians must endure. She emphasized the existence of scraping by that many employees in the nation experience.
She disproved the notion that young people in Ghana are idle by pointing to the challenging economic circumstances that exist there as the cause of the challenge saving for the future.
