Herbal Medicine Needs Government’s Attention – Practitioner
Apostle Stephen Osei, CEO of Ogyatanaa Herbal Center, has called on government to pay critical attention to herbal industry in the country to reviv our economy.
Speaking in an interview with Asona DehyiɛeKwateng, Apostle Stephen Osei , Mr Anane Adjei said, if the government could provide that useful economic and legal push, the herbal industry would serve as a catalyst for employment to the youth.
According to the renowned herbalist, the herbal industry has played a key role in the nation’s development and therefore provides the opportunity for herbal medicine to be given the needed push by the state to enable the industry contribute fully towards the rebuilding of the health sector.
He called on government to include all potent herbal Centers in the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) for alternative treatment with herbs. Herbal medicine cure chronic disease, he said.
He posited that, would enable the sizeable mass of NHIS subscribers who prefer to patronize herbal medication to derive maximum benefit from the vast interest
