E/R: SHUT DOWN OUR SCHOOL, IF NEW BLOCK WILL NOT BE BUILT FOR US PEOPLE AT KWADJO NKANSAH TO GOVERNMENT.

Residents at Kwadjo Nkansah, a suburb of Nkawkaw in the Kwahu West Municipality of the Eastern Region is pleading with the Ghana government through the Ministry of Education to close down their M/A Basic Primary school.

According to the residents, if new six classroom block will be difficult for the government to build then it’s better for the government to shut down their school rather than leaving their wards and teachers in the hands of reptiles.

It will be recalled that, School Children at Kwadjo Nkansah M/A Basic School in the Kwahu West Municipality of the Eastern Region appealed to the government of Ghana, Ministry of Education as well as the member of Parliament for the constituency, Hon. Joseph Frimpong, and the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Lawyer Yaw Owusu Addo to put up a new block from the district Assembly’s common fund to move them from studying under trees.

About few months ago, Angel Tv/FM Oheneba Siaw reported on a six unit classroom block of Kwadjo Nkansah Basic school being ripped off after a heavy rain and wind blown which has resulted the school children learning under trees.

Revealing their ordeal, the children said, one of their friends was bitten by a snake descending from one of the trees they’re studying under and swiftly intervention from their Headteacher who send the child to hospital save the live of their friend.

Adding their voices to the situation, the residents said the former MP and Regional Minister, Hon. Eric Kwakye Darffour has put up a six unit block for them which has left with only the roof but since his exit as the member of Parliament and Regional Minister, the project has halted.

Therefore arguing that if the government will not continue what the former MP, Regional Minister did or build a new block for them, then government should close down their school for their wards to sit at home much better than leaving them to snakes, rains and hot sun when they go to school.

Better still, the children continue to beg the authorities to temper justice with mercy and town down their eyes upon them as well to study as their co-children in the big cities and towns.
