At Urmi’s residence, Gaurav and Rashmi get into their verbal arguements. Gaurav asks her to be resilient, and be a part of the family. But Rashmi inturn speakes bitterly
Later at night in Samrat’s residence, when both are getting ready for bed. Urmi and Samrat are on about their business. As she is moving out, he asks where is she going. Urmi who is still very upset with Samrat says that she’s going down for some work and before she can begin to walk again, he stops her and she asks what happened. He asks her to pick up a gift that he got for her. While he goes about, she looks at him and then picks up and brings it to him. He is surprised and says that he didn’t ask her to find the weight but instead see what’s inside it. She takes it out and looks at him. He asks her to open it and find something that’s for her. She opens her packet to find a wonderful jewellery set in which Samrat presents to her. Urmi is overwhelmed and breaks down. Samrat sees her like that and asks why’s she crying. He consoles her and says that he can change it if she didn’t like it. She asks him to be quiet, the couple patch up and she hugs him tightly. He too smiles and hugs her back. He teases her saying that she looks wonderful when she cries. She says that she was crying all day, as no one ever scolded her like he did. He says that atleast something is new in marriage. She says that he is very mean. He says that she’s very angry still. He goes on to romantically tease her to get her into a good mood and it affects her and she starts smiling.
The next morning, Urmi wakes up with a renewed vigour, and starts looking through apparels for him. She lays out her choice that she wants him to wear. She knocks on his bathroom and says that she has kept his clothes outside and is going down for breakfast. Downstairs, Urmi sees that Samrat isn’t wearing what she chose for him. She asks him the same. He asks if this isn’t good enough. Nirmala intervenes saying that this is what happens, after marriage and that he should relish it. Samrat says that nothing would change after marriage, and he doesn’t like changing his style. He tells Urmi that she shouldn’t make Nirmala her idol. Urmi is surprised. But Shashi as usual gives into Samrat’s stance. Ishaan comes in supporting Urmi and complimenting her culinary skills. Urmi asks about Diwaker and just then he joins them. Samrat asks his father to sign some papers. He asks what is to be done and what papers they are. Samrat says that he is selling them. His father asks why. Samrat says that he isn’t used to answering questions, and that he should just do what he is told to do. Ishaan asks Samrat not to talk business on the table. Shashi again goes on to support Samrat and asks Ishaan not to interfere. Shashi in fact reprimands her husband. Urmi is apalled to see this.
Outside in the garden, Shashi finds Urmi tensed and Urmi shares how she felt bad at the way Samrat treated his father at the dining table. Shashi says that Samrat is always angry, and even if he doesn’t talk to anyone else, atleast he should respect his parents. Urmi is affected, while Shashi goes on her plan of instigating Urmi against Samrat. Shashi instigates Urmi that she being his wife, can get Samrat to behave, and that she is their last hope. Urmi assures her that she shouldn’t be tensed and that she would talk with Samrat. She gets a call from Saroj’s, asking about her and Urmi says that she is completely fine. Shashi asks if it’s her mother’s phone. Urmi complies. Saroj informing her that her aunt and uncle are leaving and if can, she should come and say her goodbyes. Urmi says that she would have to talk to Shashi about this. Shashi overhears their conversation and talks to Saroj, who expresses her desire of Urmi’s visit to their house. Shashi invites Urmi’s uncle and aunt to come visit Urmi instead as this too is Urmi’s house and they would be very happy to see them too. Saroj is relieved and happy too. Shashi says that they are coming tomorrow. Urmi is happy while Shashi gets on with her work.
Later while they are alone in their room, Samrat praises Urmi about her culinary skills, and says that she could be hired as a chef. She goes on to ask him that he won’t be able to hire her, not in terms of money, but in terms of feelings. He says that he doesn’t understand such feelings. She says that she too doesn’t understand things about him. He asks what. Urmi goes on to ask Samrat why does he talk so badly with people, and how he ends up hurting them. He asks who has he talked rudely to. She reminds him the breakfast table incident. Samrat listens tensedly. As she goes on to advise him, he shuts her up, raising his finger and silencing her. Urmi’s shocked.

Urmi tells Samrat that he was rude to his father at the dinner table which angers Samrat, who then tells her that she is his wife and that she should remain in her limits and not to decide what he should wear or eat and how should he talk to and to whom. He adds that she is his wife, and not his behaviour analyst and reminds her of her stature and limits next time she’s talking to him. Urmi is shocked at such crude behaviour. He says that if he starts doing the same to her, then she would stand nowhere in front of him. She is hurt while he gets back to his work.
The next day, while working in the kitchen, Urmi is still sad about last night. Shashi comes in asking what is being prepared. She compliments it when she hears Urmi is making special dishes. She finds Urmi tensed and sends the servant about some work. Shashi then asks Urmi and Urmi tells about what happened with Samrat. She asks Shashi to say something to him, as he wouldn’t know otherwise that he’s doing something wrong. Shashi pretends to agree, and says that they would themselves talk. Urmi tells her that they can talk being Samrat’s parents. Shashi says that Samrat doesn’t want to listen to anyone, and it’s his father’s silence that has instigated Samrat further. She expresses her regret that Urmi had to hear for them. Samrat hollers at Urmi from outside. As Urmi comes, Samrat asks for a CD, and asks Urmi to get it for her. She goes there, and while flipping through CD’s, she finds pamphlets about honeymoon packages and wonders that he never told her anything about this. She understands that he is planning a surprise for her, and gets dreamy eyed again, about her romance with him, on the honeymoon. She keeps the brochure back and takes the CD too from her and comes down. Samrat hollers at her. Urmi comes down happily and gives it to her. He asks her why is she so happy. She starts to be shy. Shashi too asks the same. Urmi says that she has reason to be happy. Just then, Urmi’s relatives come and they are very happy to see Urmi. Samrat asks them to satisfy that Urmi is happy here without any problems. Ishaan comes in and sets the mood cheerfully as usual. Samrat’s family too comes and greets them. Shashi asks the servant to get water. Urmi offers to go. But Shashi emphasises the fact that they have servants to cater. She asks Urmi to sit and chat with them. Ishaan asks them to come and chat together. Samrat resignedly sits down, sarcastically saying that sitting and chatting with them is far more important than her work. Shashi asks Jhumki, the servant to get snackls. Shashi tells Urmi to show Anu the house, when Urmi’s family comes to visit. She and Samrat both tell Urmi to show Anu around the house. Urmi’s relatives say that they have to leave now. Samrat says that Trisha too should be alone for long. Samrat says that’s why she is like that. Ishaan says that he never got to know what Trisha does. Samrat taunts that she must be doing law. Ishaan however makes light of this statement. Meanwhile, Samrat asks Urmi’s relatives about if they planning to get Trisha married as it’s difficult to find a match for a girl like Trisha. Her mother says that Trisha is totally focussed on studies right now. Shashi says that they shouldn’t delay a girls’ marriage. Her father says that they can’t force her, as she wants to finish her studies first, as it’s her life decision and she should decide it for herself. Samrat asks if there’s no possibility of any love affair, saying that she’s studying outside and may have gotten forward. Ishaan makes light of this statement too. Samrat’s father too emphasises that she should be self dependant first. Trisha’s parents agree. Samrat taunts them that they should tell the prospective in-laws the truth about Trisha’s over smartness. Ishaan says that Trisha is such a nice girl. Samrat says that Trisha is smart, but who wants a clever daughter in-law, who rules the house, according to her wishes. Everyone are stunned to hear Samrat talk like that, while Trisha’s parents are shocked. While Samrat goes onto joke about it, everyone are tensed and worried, especially Trisha’s parents. Ishaan again says that not every girl is like Urmi, and he is lucky to have Urmi in his life. Trisha asks about Samrat, and Urmi tells how he stopped without going to work, to cater to her relatives.
In her room, Urmi shows Anu the surprise that she thinks that Samrat has planned for her. They decide to call Trisha and ask for her advise on location spots. Urmi calls up, and Trisha picks up excitedly, teasing her about her married life. Urmi also tells about her parents being here, while they are being pampered in her in-law place. But contrary to that, Samrat say that since they are related now, he further warns them that they should keep an eye on Trisha as she lives in a hostel and girls are free to do whatever they want. He asks them that maybe sitting here, but do they know whats going on with her daughter, Trisha right now, or what nuisance is she up to. Samrat says that such girls become free, and irrespective of family’s culture, they forget all festivals, and remember one, Valentine’s day and goes onto say what happens in such cases. Everyone are shocked as he goes on a rant of live-in relationships, also being a possibility, where the boy and the girl are under the same roof, where they do everything, except marriage. Trisha’s parents are outraged. They are all tensed, at Samrat’s callous statements. Trisha’s father is hurt.
