Great Olympics’ protest against Okyeman Planners for fielding an unqualified player during a Division One League match last month has been dismissed.
Olympics wanted Planners punished for using Joshua Ankamah in their Match Day 23 against Danbort FC which ended 1-1.
The Petitioner stated that player received three cautions on Match Days 1, 15 and 22 of the GN Bank Division One League and should have served a one-match ban but he did not.
But the Disciplinary Committee found out that Ankamah was qualified when he was fielded in the match against Danbort FC by Okyeman Planners FC.
This is because Olympics failed to file the protest within the time limit to satisfy Article 37(1) of the General Regulations.
