In order to run for re-election in the New Patriotic Party (NPP)’s next primaries, Sarah Adwoa Safo, the member of parliament for Dome-Kwabenya, was able to get the support of the constituency’s delegates, according to Safo.
This comes after recent footage showing the legislator submissively serving yogurt and meat pies to her supporters, which some people perceived as a ruse to convince them to vote for her.

She had apologized to the NPP party, its members, Parliamentarians, and her people before eating the yoghurt and meat pie for leaving them for over two years while she remained in the United States of America.
She said that she was forced to act in a certain way and that it was not her purpose. Her constituents were incensed by the apology and threatened to vote against her because she had mistreated them.
