the Bono East Regional Organiser for the New Patriotic Party today in Kintampo at the Constituency Women’s Wing program urges parliamentary aspirants to run a decent and insult-free campaign as they are seeking the mandate from the polling station executives to lead the party in the 2020 general election.
The program which was full to its capacity by party faithfuls at The community centre and was graced by the party’s national women organiser, madam Kate Gyamfua and other dignitaries made the programme very efficacious.
Addressing the three parliamentary aspirants for the NPP of Kintampo north constituency urges them to do a decent campaign in the process. He said” it would be beneficial for the party if all the aspirants avoided mudslinging and personality attacks in the in the primaries. The quest to win election is not base on personality attacks but the articulation of what one could do to transform the party’s chances of winning the constituency in the 2020 general elections. It is necessary for all of them to observe the bigger picture and not engaging in acts that had the potential of destabilizing the party. He also added that going forward we will need everyone one board to retrieve the parliamentary seats from the NDC within the region and aspirants should consider themselves as sons from a common mother and see the game as family-friendly match but not a local derby and must win match.
Mr. Sulemana Musah pledged to work with the rank and file of the party to build a strong, resilient and branded NPP capable of winning more seats for the party within the region. We have a big task ahead with very little time to execute. The party needs an awakening to win both the presidential and parliamentary elections in 2020.
Mr. Sule also urges delegates participating in the elections to elect committed persons who will serve in the interest of the party and ready to win their seats for the NPP.
He concluded with a goodwill message to all aspirations within the the region. “Let me extend to you all, my very best wishes as you have started the initial stage of campaigning as the parliamentary candidate for your constituency. I reiterate my call for mature, decent and all-inclusive campaign.
With our goal firmly fixed on victory in the 2020 elections, the NPP can only be better off if we come out of these elections freely and united. The regional executives are ready to prepare assiduously for the 2020 and to retrieve all the six constituencies won by the NDC MPS within the region.
Long live Ghana!
