The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears nor the figure that she carries but her hair and as such, a woman who shaves her hair is a disgrace to femininity, relationship counsellor, George Lutterodt has said.
In an interview with GhanaWeb, Counselor Lutterodt mentioned that some ladies in their quest to look younger than their age, end up getting haircuts. Unknowingly, they rather appear disgusting in the sight of men they intended to please.
“There is a new trend in the system. Young ladies are growing, when they are supposed to get to the peak of picking up to become wives, then they shave their hair. It’s because they are frustrated. It’s not fashion; it’s a sign of frustration. The beauty of every woman is your hair; not your breast or your ass. The Bible says it is a shame for a woman to shave the hair,” he said.
“In the culture perspective, any time they use the razor on your hair, they are about to perform a traditional function with you and they want your hair to grow with you to accept the function. You shave your hair that you want to look young. Young for who? Who are you deceiving? It is a shame and disgusting to most men,” he added.
Counselor Lutterodt however entreated women who had to shave their hairs for clinical reasons to buy wigs to cover up.
“Once you have shaved your hair, don’t show it anywhere from today onwards. Technology has helped you. Wig has been part of fashion. If anything is causing your hair to break, I prefer you get a wig to fix until the hair grows. For those having unkempt hair, it is a sign of madness,” he said.
