WN/R: NDC PARLIAMENTARY CANDIDATE HOLDS THANKSGIVING SERVICEĀ
The NDC parliamentary candidate for the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Constituency, Mr. Bright Asamoah Brefo, and his team gathered at the Trinity Assemblies of God church, Bibiani, to express gratitude to God for his victory in the partyās Parliamentary primaries.
The Thanksgiving service was an opportunity for Mr. Brefo and his supporters to reflect on their successful campaign and seek divine guidance for the upcoming 2024 general elections.
Present at the event was the former Member of Parliament, Seidu Paakuna Adamu, Mr. Yaw Berimah (NDC Constituency Chairman), Mr. Joseph Ayambila (Constituency Secretary) and other Constituency executives.
Bright Asamoah Brefo (NDC PC for Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Constituency)
During the service, Mr. Bright Asamoah Brefo expressed his appreciation to the Pastor of the Assembly of God church for offering prayers and guidance throughout the entire electioneering period.
He acknowledged the challenges faced during his campaign, highlighting the difficulties of covering the vast municipality while reaching out to the constituents. Nevertheless, he expressed his gratitude to the NDC supporters and his family for their unwavering support and commitment during the campaign.
Mr. Bright Asamoah Brefo humbly requested the churchās continued prayers, seeking divine intervention and support in his quest to emerge victorious in the 2024 general elections and become the constituencyās Member of Parliament.
He emphasized the importance of spiritual support and urged the congregation to remember him in their prayers.
Mr. Samuel Adjinah, popularly known as Royal, who competed against Mr. Bright Asamoah Brefo in the NDC primaries, was unable to attend the Thanksgiving service due to his busy schedule. However, Mr. Adjinah displayed great sportsmanship by delegating his supporters to represent him at the event, showcasing a sense of unity within the NDC party.
Mr. Yaw Berimah (Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai NDC Constituency Chairman)
Speaking at the service, Mr. Yaw Berimah, the Constituency Chairman of the NDC, expressed confidence in the partyās ability to regain the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Constituency Parliamentary seat.
He criticized the ruling NPP for what he perceived as their failure to develop the area since they wrested the seat from the NDC in 2004.
Mr. Berimah highlighted the unity within the party, evident in the presence of supporters from all the aspirants who contested the internal primaries during the Thanksgiving service.
Encouraging NDC sympathizers to act swiftly, Yaw Berimah urged them to initiate their campaign activities without delay, emphasizing the significance of time and the need to seize the opportunity.
With the Thanksgiving service serving as a unifying platform for the party, the NDC in Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Constituency appears determined and ready to reclaim the parliamentary seat in the upcoming elections.
