A Plus, who vowed never to stop insulting Asabee, is remorseful now and ready to patch up with the ex-Information Minister after he was invited by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service.
This development comes barely 24 hours after the CID extended an invitation to him [A Plus] to give a statement regarding alleged defamatory claims he made against Asabee.
But A Plus after visiting the CID’s office said he met with the Commander in charge of Ciber Crime Unit, one Dr. Yankson who advised him on many issues, hence the change of mind.
“He advised me that though I claim it was Asabee who begun insulting me, I should not insult him again”, A Plus said in portions contained in his lengthy write-up.
According to him, “He used bible verses and all to speak to me like a small brother”.

A Plus writes;
Yesterday I got to the CID headquarters very angry. I told the police to stop acting as if they can arrest me in this case. I made it very clear to them, “Masa stop pretending that you can arrest me. You can’t. I’ve not committed any crime.” I also made it very clear to them that if it were any ordinary person they would have locked the person up by now just because one big man reported a case. I’m not ordinary and nobody can intimidate me in this country.
Then we went to the office of the commander in charge of cyber crime unit. Dr Yankson. Not the honorary Dr that is given to people in churches oooo. This Dr. is a proper PhD holder who also lectures at the police training school. He advised me that though I claim it was Asabee who begun insulting me, I should not insult him again. He used bible verses and all to speak to me like a small brother. Dr Yankson is a new generation Ghana police service Officer. A very nice man.
I told him that I need the support of the police service to end this “bigmanship” and politicians taking the law into their own hands to intimidate everyone and interfere in every institution in Ghana including the police. “Dr, take Ayawaso byelection for example, police commissioners were standing and party foot soldiers and vigilantes were misbehaving. They could not act because the police commissioners were scared of politicians. If you speak or work professionally they will victimize you. Is this the Ghana we want?” Anyway, I’ve taken his advice. I will not insult Asabee. But the land di? the young man must get it back and Asabee must pay for the damage caused.
We are ready to talk. Asabee should come and let’s talk. I’m not the Rawlings he claims he deIfeated in the 80s. That time is dead and gone!!! This is 2019. Boys today be wild pass 1980 boys. If he fails to talk and sort this issue out, I will do worse. I will pick Hajia Fati from NPP party headquarters and pick some boys in addition to the site and stand there for the guy to build his house. And trust me. He can’t come there. I’ve won 5 – 0. I’m undisputed. Halfman Halfbosom no dey lose!!! Never!!!
