In an interview with the MMUN minister of education for west Africa,KING OYANKA
His office has been a very supportive to this reading festival, due to how he wanted this kind of opportunity during his childhood but never had it,
“So we aren’t going to see our future leaders pass through the same mess we pass through after God has showed us mercy.”
KING OYANKA commended the Municipal Director of Education, Mr. Victor Noye Tawiah, for his efforts of taking Ghana’s education sector to a different level.
He emphasized that the Reading Festival will become a recurring event with evolving dimensions to continually engage and inspire students.
The comments of the GA WEST EDUCATION DIRECTOR has also push us more(MMUN)to have interest in the reading festival,,his not working just to earn something for himself and the family but his very dedicated to improve the lifes of our children and also the betterment of their reading skills.
The responsibility of promoting education shouldn’t be allowed only on the government or the education ministry, each and everyone who has something small should try as much as possible to invest in education.
He concluded by calling on all the traditional rulers in the country ,to play a major role in promoting education than any other things.
