The former deputy minster of power, John Jinapor has admonished the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government to reach out to the erstwhile John Mahama administration for help in fixing the ‘dumsor’ menace which has hint Ghanaians in the last couple of weeks.Jinapor stated in an interview on Asempa FM Tuesday that during the Mahama era, ‘dumsor’ was dealt with comprehensively.

“Under no circumstance should we be experiencing dumsor given the positive stride and the resilient robust nature of the power sector we handed over to them [NPP government]. And, so, if dumsor is recurring under this administration, they should solve it and not blame the John Mahama administration. We dealt with it in a comprehensive and coherent manner. If we were to be in government by now we wouldn’t be experiencing dumsor,” he said.The Nana Akufo-Addo led-government promised Ghanaians ‘dumsor’ will be a thing of the past under its watch but recent development across the country show that the rampant power outage is back with us.
