There is a video online showing Alan Kyerematen’s campaign posters being taken down from an NPP office.
On September 25, the former trade and industry minister Alan Kyerematen resigned from the NPP and declared his desire to run for president in 2024 as an independent.
The NPP members can be seen pulling the posters off the party’s office walls in the video.
In the video, a young guy can be seen removing the election campaign posters from a structure that has been painted in the NPP’s colors.
He can be overheard expressing his annoyance and saying, “You cannot take such a nonsense decision, and your posters will remain here,” as he takes the posters down from the walls.
Behind the camera, another person can be heard screaming constantly, “Remove them, remove them,” in support of the removal effort. Our party office will not accept your posters. The residence was not rented by you on our behalf.
