Ace Dancehall artist Samini Dagaati has punched his perceived rival, Shatta Wale describing his songs as “unnecessary”
According to the “Vex Mad” hit maker, the self-acclaimed Dancehall King only composes noisy songs with lyrics people don’t understand.
He said, he studied sound engineering in the United Kingdom in 2009 therefore knows what makes a good beat.
“When it comes to instrumentation i know what makes it good , there is no way i will jump into the studio and come out 30 minutes for song which doesn’t make sense to the listeners and so to my view i think he (Shatta) on makes noise” he told Kleff Maxwell Justice on Hitz fm’s morning show Daybreak Hit Wednesday.
For years, the two waged what could pass as the fiercest war of words in Ghana’s music industry, over who is the ‘Dancehall King’ in Ghana. The war degenerated into personal attacks and it manifested in their music, on social media, on stage, and even on radio.
There were other speculations that, the two are yet to collaborate on a new music and concerts which will draw down the curtain on their beef. Watch Samini talking to Hitz FM’s KMJ.
