Stop splashing cash on campaigns and build hospitals – Kwaku Manu to politicians

Renowned Kumawood actor, Kwaku Manu, has charged Ghanaian politicians to desist from their unscrupulous splashing of valuable state finances on their campaigns when it is time for an election and use such monies to develop the human and infrastructural resources at various hospitals in the country.

The comic actor who spoke to Zionfelix recently at the Okomfo Anokye Teaching Hospital when he accompanied Prophetess Vida of the Vida Bethel Prayer Ministry to make a donation, bemoaned the deteriorating health sector as a major problem for the country. Kwaku stated that currently there is a great deficit in the country in terms of the number of ambulances needed to help our emergency services.

He added that many people are dying needless deaths because Ghanaian politicians instead of investing in ambulances for the country will spend money on campaigns.

The “I’m Love You” coiner further called on politicians and in particular, the current president Akuffo-Addo government to ensure that workers in the health sector are properly catered for. He made the point that many of the nurses and doctors in the country are not given the wages and proper working environment, as such, the exodus of many of the nation’s qualified health workers.

He thanked her for leading the construction of the Mother and Baby Unit of the hospital, which has gone a long way to reduce the erstwhile congestion at that unit.
