Former President John Mahama’s special assistant and attorney, Joyce Bawah Mogtari, spoke to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and called for an end to the dissemination of false information about the NDC’s flagbearer.
She pleaded with President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo of the NPP administration to put economic stabilization first, stop borrowing, get rid of inflation and corruption, and stop disseminating false information.
In response to an allegedly fake letter ascribed to Mahama, Mogtari denounced the NPP for failing to provide Ghanaians with meaningful dialogue, implying that people are being forced to put up with the government’s appalling performance in silence.
She drew attention to the government’s propensity to use propaganda, misinformation, and disinformation in the face of failings.
