“Pride Would Let You Fall” Proverbs 16:18 – Concern Delegates To Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu

STATEMENT BY CONCERNED NPP DELEGATES (Suame Constituency)

We have watched with dismay the denigration of Lawyer John Darko by Mr. Kyei Mensah-Bonsu.

In the said tape Hon Kyei Mensah Bonsu referred to lawyer John Darko as an empty barrel looking for relevance”.

It seems to us that mr. Kyei Mensah-Bonsu does not know lawyer Darko, but that ok, we, the delegates know him. If now he doesn’t know a whole Dr.Amoako Tufuor then we are not surprised he will describe lawyer Darko as “a certain John Darko”.

Those unfortunate statements show the hubris of Mr. Kyei Mensah Bonsu. He should read proverbs 16:18.

The Suame delegates from whom you are running away know him and for us that’s the most important thing.

You are running from the election because you are afraid of accountability.
We the Suame delegates know him as lawyer of 10 years standing at the Bar who can represent us well.
With all humility, at least 3 serving members of parliament and ministers of state know him as their lecturer and don’t consider him an empty barrel and that’s very fulfilling to us.
Lawyer Darko does not seek relevance from anywhere because he knows who he is.
Your press interaction was full lies., you lied about his votes at the last primaries and you lied about a so called party decision to protect you.

Indeed clause 3 of the guidelines says “The NPP shall hold parliamentary primaries on Saturday April 25, 2020 in ALL the 169 constituencies where the party has sitting Members of Parliament with the exception of the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency”

Clearly this shows that OKMB is lying to the public when he says the party has made a decision to protect him.

OKMB, your lies will be exposed and for sure the people of Ghana will know you for who you are.

If you are not afraid of the impending election, then subject yourself to the election and stop hiding behind supposed party decision.

Going forward, we hope you will address the massive infrastructural deficit in our constituency rather than throwing insults and invectives against the person of lawyer Darko.
